Description

Reduction once again dominates the nose

It has a beguiling bouquet

Finishes with suave tannins

minerally piquant yet balanced and complex palate with a lingering salinity and a fresh and grippy finish

it could even be considered to be underperforming in the context of the vintage

Clusel Roch, Cote Rotie Schistes Vintage:2020 Reduction once again dominates theDeep ruby with some evolution at the rim. Very savoury, strongly Syrah leathery nose. Bone dry finish but masses of character in a wine without masses of alcohol. Not for super technicians. Just a hint of hamster cages. But lots of character!
